I am instructed to inform you that the resolution that was really passed, entered in my minute book and since confirmed at our last meeting, is :—" That the attention of the police be drawn to the breach of bye-laws by the public driving without lights after sunset." The assembly considered it most necessary in the interests of their order that every publicity should be given this denial, so that the readers of the Times and News of the dates given should not he allowed to conclude that our assembly recognises the private grievance of any of its members, or that it knowingly places its influence at the disposal of any of its members whose efforts may be prompted by personal feeling or suite. —I am, Sec., C'Hlll 111 ;hks, Recording Secretary Morning St; 1 V 1 1 ly.
