SLIGHT ADVANTAGE BY THE COLONIALS. London, -Tune 15. The Australians commenced their second match against Yorkshire at Leeds to-day. The Aveather was fine and 20,000 spectators were present. The wicket did not play weii, being affected by recent rain. Kelly, M'Kibbin, and Eady stood out of the colonial team. The Australians were the first to bat, and were sill disposed of 113. The game was very slow at the commencement, Donnon scoring only four in half an hour. Gregory played a dashing innings, sand knocked up his score, which included six 4's, in an hour and a half. The lidding of the Home team was smart. Hirst took live wickets for 10 runs, Wainwright two or 23, and Jackson two for :-!0. In the first innings the Yorkshire team have lost seven wickets for 96. The Yorkshire men started forcing the game, and ran up ;i0 runs in half an hour, when Jones was put on, and he dismissed five men for 2S runs. Johns missed Denton twice at the wickets.
