The s.s. Star of New Zealand arrived yesterday from Auckland. The s.s. Pania left on Suaday night for the coast, but the southerly gale which sprung up yesterday morning compelled her to return to port. The s.s. Mariposa left Sydney for San Francisco yesterday.
