There is much comment here at the continued absence of Ministers, seeing that Parliament is to meet next week. Affairs in connection with the Colonial Bank liquidation, which comes before the Supreme Court, Ditnedin, to-morrow, arc keeping the Colonial Treasurer in Otago. The Premier is on his way back from Invercargill. lie addresses a meeting at Christehtirch this evening, and speaks at Wellington on Tuesday.
It is stated that Sir Robert Stout will address a Chrßtchurch audience
