TRAINING NOTES

The usual number of horses pat in an appearance this morning. Lorenzo and Brenmui were associated for three rounds, and came home at a strong bat, finishing close together. T Kose, after completing a round, was picked up by Direct Veto. The former had Veto in trouble at the finish of the second round. Wikitoria was sent two circuits at threequarter pace. Scrap Iron 11. and Ellingham's geMinir worked together for four rounds. Both horses were raced home, and the former appeared to have the best of the finish. The son of Martini-Eniield is evidently on the improve. Lotion was restricted to slow work.
liangipunehu. with a stable companion, put in two rounds at a good pace. Ihe former jumped the schooling fences in good style. The Shearer put in ste'adv work 011 the flat.
Glengarry was sent twice round ai three-quarter pace. Sparkle and Lord Eaven were sent three times round.
Musketeer put in a couple of circuits at three-quarter pace.
