London, Juno 1. There was fine weather for the match at Oxford to-day, and the attendance was large. Tho Home team were the first to 4q[ bat, and made a good stand, the board registering 237 before the last wicket fell. Leveson-Gower (92) was the principal contributor, making his runs by good free play. He gave a couple of possible chances, and was eventually taken by -Johns behind the wickets with one hand.
