The crew landed at Opunake at 1 o'clock this morning. The Marramarra was a wooden screw steamer of 30 horse power built in Sydney in ISH4. Ai'i May 30. Arrived at 10 a.m.—Waikatofrom London, alter a passage of - r >9 days. On May 18 a fire was discovered in No. 5 hold, supposed to have been caused by spontaneous combustion of tarred felt. The fire was extinguished after pouring in water for three hours. The damage is believed to be small.
