IJy Gipsy ( >i:an:>. A goodly number of touts were as--t nd>l< d on the course this morning, but no work of importance was executed. Golden Plover \ 1 - on the track, and with \\ nittakcr tip- was restricted to slow work. The son of Forerunner is looking well, and should shortly emulate his pa>t deeds. Lorenzo, Brennan. and a bracelet hor-.e brushed over two miles at steady pace. Wikitoria went a couple of circuits at a slow pace. Glengarry and Scrap Iron 11. executed a two-mile spin at thive-<ju:irter pace, the former having all the best of it. T liosi- went once round, and was then picked up I \ 1> ! iH cto. Both continued a couple of rounds and finished well. Midas. Sabreur. and Forty \\ inks were sent three times round at a steady pace. The young son of Cuirassier is looking very well, and should be heard of in the spring. Lotion was restricted to slow exercise. Dauntless and Mars were associated in steady work. Solitaire and Midas were sent three times round, both finishing well. llangipunehu and Canard were put over the hurdles for a round, both horses going well, but the former appeared to have too much pace for his companion. Musketeer was brushed over a mile at a good pace.
