LABOUR STILL HOLDS THE SEAT. Melbourne, May 27. Mr Tucker, a Labor candidate, has been elected for South Melbourne, «<<•. Mr Winter. deceased. There were six candidates. Mr H. H. Champion, a prominent newspaper contributor oil labour questions, only polled 11G votes, and MiThomas Bent, formerly Speaker of the Assembly, 19. The latter had to forfeit his deposit.
