The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union have arranged the programme for the Queensland football team as follows : Saturday, Nth August, they play Auckland; Tuesday, 11th August, Taranaki; Thursday, 18th August, Wellington ; Saturday, loth August, New Zealand, at Wellington ; Thursday, 20th August, Canterbury ; Saturday, 22nd August, Otago ; Tuesday, 25th August, Invercargill; and leave the colony the same day. The opening of the new premises of the Evening Post was successfully carried out yesterday afternoon. A large number of pressmen and personal friends of the proprietors and staff were present. The scene in the machinery room was memorable. The two new web printing machines were started amid loud cheering. Mr D. M. Luckie, a former editor of the Post, and Mr T. McKenzie, sen., the father of Wellington journalism were present. The buildings are commodious and convenient, while the plant and machinery are of the very latest description. j
