No entry" will be received for any race unless on the condition that ail claims, disputes, and objections arising', shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be. final. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount, must be addressed to the Secretary, Masterton.

No entry will bo received after the hour named on any pretence whatever. Any jockey riding except in colors will he lined 2 soys. The amount for second horse will be deducted from the adve«jbised amount of stakes. Horses walking over will receive 5 per cent of the stakes. Stewards reserve the right to rehandicap any winners of races after the handicaps have been declared. Definition of a hack—A hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time, hack or hunter races excepted, and is not or lias not been nominated in any race, other than hack races, at the same meeting.
