MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close for the under-mentioned places as follows : For Auckland, overland, Monday and Thursday, 2 p.m. For Wellington and South, daily, 11 a.m. Post Office Holiday.—Monday, May 25, will be observed as a close holiday, and mails which would otherwise close on that day will be closed at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. The telegraph branch will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and from 7 to 8 p.m. S. F. Ha§zakd, FOstmaster.
