One mile sixty-five chains. 3. 1 p.m.—Otaki Plate Handicap, of ICO sovs ; second horse to receive 20S0VS, and third horse to receive iosovs from the stakes. The winner of any race (after the declaration of weights) of the advertised value of 25SOVS or over to carry a penalty of 71b. Nomination 50s, acceptance 60s. One mile and a-half. —LUNCH—4. 2 p.m.—Second Hurdle Handicap, cf 3osovs ; second horse to receive SSOVS from the stakes. Weights declared after first hurdles are run. Acceptance at the scales within 15 minutes after the Otaki Plate is run. Nomination 15s ; acceptance 15s. One mile and a-half. 5. 2.45 p.m.—Flying Handicap, of 6osovs, second horse to receive ssovs from the stakes. Nomination 255, acceptance 30s. Three-quarters of a mile. C. 3.30 p.m.—Rauka.va Plate, of 40SOVS; second horse to receive iosovs from the stakes. Weight for age. Open to horses that have never won an advertised race pricr to date of nomination. Entrance 30s, on day of general entry. One Mile. 7. 4.15 p.m.—Stewards' Stakes Handicap, of 70SOVS; second horse to receive sscvs from the stakes ; winner of trial to carry a penalty of jib; winner of Otaki Plate to carry a penalty of iolb ; should same horse win Trial and Otaki Plate, to carry a penalty of iolb only. Nomination 30s, acceptance 30s. One mile and a quarter. Stakes Paid in Full.

Dates of Nominations, Weights, and Acceptances. Weights declared on 16tli May (except for the Second Hurdles). Acceptances or all Handicaps (except the Second Hurdles) and entries for the Raukawa Plate close at 9 p.m. on 21st May. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry shall be received for' any race except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decisions upon all points shall be final. 2. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of £2, which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed and delivered to the Secretary, Otaki, not later than the advertised time of closing, with performance, pedigree, and colours of the rider. 4. No entry will be received under any pretence whatever after the hour named. 5. All races shall be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 6. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. 7. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the day of meeting, the amount of added money, to make any addition or Iteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming due for such meeting, subject to the approval of the Wellington Racing Club. 8.
