Goodwin's T llose, aged, 9st ioib ••• a AH started. Good race between the placed horses, Kauri Gum winning by half a length from Tally-ho, who was two lengths in front of T Rose. Time, 3min 31 2-sth sec. Totalisalor, C 29 ; 51 on winner; dividend. I'll 2s. Skwstrad llamucap. of 4-1 sovs ; second horse to receive 5 sovs from the slake. Fur all horses that have never won a race oil the llat exceeding 40 sovs in value at time of nomination. Seven furlongs. C. Siddells's c-h f Maid Marion, 3yrs, f-vst lib ... ... ... 1 A. Ellingham's b c Popgun, 3yrs, Gst 121b ... 2 J. Maher's br f Primula, 3yrs, 7st lib 3 Gold Cup, Bedford, Midas, Wikitoria, and Whakamatua also started. This race was run in the dark, the horses hardly being distinguishable. Won by a length, Primula a. fair third, with Gold Cup, Belford, and Midas next in order. Time, lmin 36 l-stli sec.
