WELLINGTON ITEMS.
NELSON, MOATF, CO. NATIVES ASSOCIATION. RETURNING M.H.li's. THE COLONIAL TREASURER. [Special to Standakd.] Wellington, This day. Messrs Nelson. Moate, and Co. have decided to remove their head-quarters to Wellington, and have leased Nathan and Co's. four-story warehouse at the corner of Grey and Feathurston stm ts. Nelson, Moate, and Co. have converted the business into a limited liability company, the whole of the shares in which were taken up in one day, thus showing the opinion in which the business is held by others. At a meeting held last night it was resolved to form a branch of the Natives Association in Wellington, and a provisional board of directors was set up to act as a board of management for the colony until the first meeting of delegates. Messrs 11. D. Bell and George Hutchison M.II.R.'s, are expected to reach the colony about the 18th prox. The two gentlemen have been on a visit to the Old Country. The Colonial Treasurer is expected back in Wellington on Saturday, and the Minister of Lands on Sunday.
