The Australians resumed their second innings, which closed for 191. Trott played excellent cricket for 59. With two or three exceptions the battin!? was not tip to form. A decided stand was made by the Englishmen on going to the wickets the second time. Jackson contributed 9.5 (not out) in dastjing style, treating the various bowers tiied all the same. Rangiteingbji made 42 by good all-ro.ind play. The match ended in a draw, the Englishmen playing out time with four wickets down for ISO.
