A Cure for Consumption.

The London correspondent of the Pres* (Chri<telmreh) says : So far as can lie judged, Mr E. F. Wright is at last on the liiprh road to a complete recognition of the value of his " Consumptive Cure."' It lias been tried by an emincnt doctor on live cases anion# his own patients, the drug being made up himself from the proscription supplied by Mr Wright. Four of the cases were in an incipient stage. In each instance the administration of Mr Wright's remedy was followed hy improved appetite, steady fall of temperature, cessation of night -sweat«, loss of cough, increase in weight and strength and apparent cessation of the disease of the lungs. Four of the cases are virtually cured. In three of them the patients have returned to their regular work. The experimenting doctor writes that he considers the drug most valuable, especially in cases of incipient phthisis, and that ho thoroughly agrees with Mr Wright in his estimate of the value of his discovery. I hove myself read the letter, so there can bo no mistake about the matter. Mr Wright lias confided to me the secret of his method, and I am then fore aide to say that it is based upon sound scientific principles. This view is strongly held by the doctor, who has tried the remedy, and by the experts who have reviewed the general principles of Mr Wright's theory. It really seems therefore as if a New Zealander was in a fair way to win the honour of being one of tbe greatest benefactors of the human race. A cure, for consumption would get rid of one of mankind's most dire scourge*. And if Mr Wright's system proves permanently successful it will be applicable, varied only in dot lil, to other cVseascs hitherto incurable.
