No entry shall be received for any race except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decisions upon all points shall be iiutil. 2. All protests must- be accompanied with a deposit of .€'2. which sum shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest is not sustained. o. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must bo addressed and delivered to the Secretary, Otaki, not later than the advertised time of closing, with performance, pedigree, and colours of the rider. 4. No entry will be received under any pretence whatever after the hour named. 5. All races shall be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 6. Horses walking over will only receive oO per cent, of the stakes. 7. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the day of meeting, the amount of added money, to make siiiv addition or alteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming due for such meeting, subject to the approval of the Wellington Racing Club. 8.
