HIGH WATER—SUN RISES AND SETS
Auckland, Tuesday. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6.30 p.m. for Gisborne. Arrived—Ohau, at 730 last night, from Gisborne, Wellington, yesterday. Arrived -Taupo, at 11.20 a m. from Auckland, via Gisborne. Arrived—R..M.S. Kaikoura, at 4 15. yesterday afternoon, from Plymouth via Hobart. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. The B.s. Australia does not reach Gisborne, from” Wellington and Napier, till Saturday morning. The s.O. Wairarapa arrives from Melbourne via Southern ports on Monday morning. The Coastal steamer Southern Cross is due here this evening, from North. The s.B. Manapomi leaves Auckland at noon to-day, and arrives here at about 2 o’clock to-morrow afternoon. She goes South in the evening. The schooner Waiwera Itf-. Auckland last night for Mercury Bay, at which port ehe loads with timber for Messrs Clayton and Sawyer.
