SHIPPING.
ARRIVALS. The U.S.S. Company’s coastal steamer Australia arrived in the bay on Saturday morning last. Passengers: Mrs Scott, Master Scott, Messrs Jopp, Glassford, Fraser, Robjobns, McGuire, Myers, Walcot, Skinner, and three steerage passengers. The s.s. Waihora arrived in the roadstead early yesterday morning, bringing the following passengers: Mesdames Karaitiana and two children, Hutchinson, Garrett, Saunders and two children, Gibson, two children and servant; Misses Brown, Sweet, Queenin, McKee, Ward, Newton; Eev. Gibson, Messrs Skelton, Beaman, Hatton, Karaitiana, Clayton, Kaiatiana, Atkinson, Mr Bennett (from Melbourne), and Master Sunderland. At 11 o’clock yesterday morning the Tyser Company’s fine steamer Celtic King came into port, from Napier. She ’commences loading frozen mutton immediately for London. DEPARTURES, The s.s. Waihora resumed her vovage north about 10 a.m. yesterday morning taking as passengers: Mesdames Smith, Davis and 3 children ; Miss Webley; Messrs Smith (2), Crombie, Ledger, Carswell, and O. Buscke, and eight steerage. The s.s. Australia took her departure for coast ports and Auckland, taking as passengers, Messrs Worgan and Connolly. IMPORTS. Celtic King, at 6 p.m., for Gisborne, Auckland, yesterday. Arrived—Australia, at 3 a.m., from Gisborne. Blcff, yesterday. Arrived—Mananouri, st 7.30 a.m., from Hobart, with English mail. The schooner Saucy Kate, from Gisborne, arrived in Napier on Saturday afternoon.
