ARRIVALS. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Southern Cross, from Auckland via East Coast ports, arr.ved in the roadstead shortly after 10 o’clock yesterday morning. Passenger: Mr Corbett. DEPARTURES. The Southern Cross steamed on to Napier yesterday evening, taking—Misses Johnson, Winter, S. McMurray, and Hammersley, Master Muir, Messrs D. Fraser, Black, Kempthorne, Pickering, Lysnar, Crawford, W. Good, and bowling team (7). IMPORTS. Per Southern Cross—36 pkgs Wingate, Burns and Co.; 2 sacks, 1 truss, 2 cases ccffee, Adair; 5 cases, Common, Shelton and Co.; 8 oases, C. Lewis; 1 case, Moore; 1 truss, Mrs Ledger; 2 perambulators, Townley; 62 bdle, 6 doors, Kennedy and Evans. EXPORTS. Per Southern Cross—l2 sacks grass seed Mercantile Company ; 210 sacks grass seed. Kennedy and Evans; 30 sacks grass seed, Common, Shelton and Co. TELEGRAPHIC. Taubanga, Thursday. Arrived - Omapere, as 645 p. tn. from Gisborne. Wellington, yesterday. Arrived—B. M.S. Arawa, at 7.15 p.m., from Plymouth via Hobart. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Awaroa, topsail schooner, from Mercury Bay. Opawa, ship, from London, via Lyttelton. Waiwera, schooner, from Mercury Bay. Saucy Kate, schooner, from Grey mouth. Venus, cutter, from Napier. The steamer Australia arrives from Wellington and Napier this morning. Last Bunch at 1. Archdeacon Williams and Mrs Skeet and infant are booked to leave by the Mararoa tl)is evening. The Union Company's steamer Mararoa left Auckland at 1 30 o’clock yesterday afternoon, and arrives in the bay about the same hour this afternoon. She leaves for Melbourne, Hobart, yia Southern ports at B, at which hour the last launch goes off. Shortly after 5 o'clock this evening the Union Company’s steamer Wairarapa leaves Wellington. She calls in at Napier tomorrow, arriving here at daylight on Monday morning, going on to Auckland, Russell, and Sydney at 8.
