On Saturday Thomas Roberts was committed for trial, for alleged indecent assault. Mr Kelly was blocked by a tree whan on his journey to Opotiki, and he was compelled to walk fifteen miles, Captain Russell had a good meeting at Wairoa, and got a vote of confidence. The Napier News devotes half a column to matter quoted from our Telephone department, and specially compliments the operator nn bis skill in manipulating the “ wires. ”
