The eteamer Fairy arrived from Napier on Thursday morning. The U.S.S. Company’s Australia, from Auckland, arrived here on Thursday night. Pasaengers: Mr Jones and two natives. The U.S.S. Company’s Mararoa arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon. Passenger! : Messrs Gelling, Lawson, Cleary, Taylor, Jones, and Price. The ».«. Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here about 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Passengers : Revs. Monro and Beecrcft, Messrs Eiby, Nicol, Fordham, and two steerage. DEPARTURES. The e.«. Australia went on iculhyesterday, taking—Messrs A. B. Newman, J. R. Johnsloo, Binnie, and Muctagher. The s.s. Mararca resumed her voyage south lact evening, taking—Mrs Hennessy, Misses Podmore and Dunlop, Messrs Cbrisp, Booth, Newman, Mouatt, T.ffen, W. L. Rees, Faram, Gidney, Johnston, and Detective Campbell. The a. s. Southern Cross left for coast ports and Auckland late last night. IMPORTS. Pom Chalkebs, Thursday. Sailed—Fileshire, for London. The schooner Gisborne will leave Auckland tor Gisborne on or about 31st July. The schooner Waiwera is now on her way from Auckland with a general cargo for this port.
