At a meeting of tbe Hawkes’ Bay Lands Boird on Wednesday the following correspondence relating to land in this district was rest) :-rr l From A. Skillicorn, Ormond, applying to select section 81, blook 9, Waimata S.D., on perpetual lease. Thera are 13 acres in the block. -To be put up for auction. From District Surveyor, Gisborne, re disSoaal of sections 70 and 71, block 0, Opolti .D.—Lanfi to bo leased for 21 years, the price being £1 per acre. From Under-Secretary of Crown Lands rs disposal of pastoral runs in Poverty Bay dis trlot.—The classification of the runs to be accepted, and the Government to be recommended to put them up for sale on the first convenient opportunity.
