The Gisborne Club have two crews on the water on Monday night for the trial fours. Chrisp's crew contests with Green's, and on Tuesday night the winning crew combats withSpurdle’a crew, ■’ Outrigger ” anticipates good races, but think* Green will inmage to pull off the first heat. The first event of the Poverty Bay Club’s trial fours was pulled off last night, when Barry’s crew beat Smaile’s by about a length and a half. The race was a good one, but Smaile was unfortunate in the selection of his cox, who seemed to have a great fancy for the niudbank. This evening Barry pulls off with Walters.
