Fire On Boardia Wool-ship.

Napier, Tuesday. At 10.15 last night tlft ship Langstone, lying in the bay, signalled that a fire had broken out on board. A fire engine was sent out from the Spit, and the seaman from the ship Piako also rendered assistance. Shortly after midnight signals were made that the fire was increasing and extra assistance was sent. The fire was not subdued until 5 o’clock thia morning. The fire broke out by the foremast, where the ship was loaded up to the decks with wool. The damage Sone by the fire is estimated at £5OOO. 160 biles 0! wool were destroyed and 1200 thoroughly soaked. The whole of the cargo will have to be unloaded and fellmongerea.
