T HEREBY give notice that a Poll of the “*• Ratepayers within the Special District, constituted in terms of the above Aet, actually on the Ratepayers' Roll, will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 14th November, 1888, at the Polling Places hereinunder mentioned, for the purpose of obtaining the consent of a Majority (both as to Number and Value) of the said ratepayers to a proposal to expend a further eum out of Loan, of £40,000, for the purpose of extending tbe Breakwater, now partly constructed at Gisborne, such expenditure to be subject in all respects to the conditions prescribed and imposed by the above Act, In Borough’ or Gisbobne— At the Town Clerk’s Office.
