VICTORIA RACING CLUB’S MEETING. SUSPICIOUS RIDING. Mblboubnz, Nov 5. The weather for the opening day of the Victorian Racing Ulus’s Spring Meeting was fine. The attendance was about 50,000. The racing throughout was very good, but the riding of Derritt in the Derby caused great dissatisfaction. Carbine was undoubtedly the best oolt in the Derby, and t he publio supported the New Zealander heavily. Pearl Shell, Volley, Wycombe, and Aldivsllooh also started.
