Hospital Sports.
Tn general meeting ot the Hospital Sports C< mmlttae was held in the Court House on Thursday evening, Captain Winter in the eb.lr. The collectors reported that the public had responded most liberally, both in money and kind. Soem £l4 or £l5 bad already been pollecied, flffi it wss expected to get at least £2O. The prises for the various events were then allotted, some £25 in money, besides the various donations, being appropriated in this direction, Saturday, November 17, was fixed as the day for entrance, for main events, the handiCaps to be declared on the following Saturday. The Secretary (Mr H. McKay) reported that the Board had kindly promised their services tor the day of the sports.
