Annual Hospital Sports.

A meeting was held last night for the purpose of arranging for the annual sports on St Andrew's day, in aid of the Gisborne Hospital. Mr Nolan occupied the chair. Mr Gregg strongly favored the holding of the sports at tbe Hapara, and moved to that effect, Mr Boland seconding. The motion was lost, and the Kaiti ground approved of. The following officials were ’ elected :— Patrons—The Mayor and Chairmen of local bodies Judges—Messrs Crawford, Lucas, Watson Starter—Captain Winter Treasurer—Mr McKay Referee—Mr Charles Evans Prize Committee-—Watson, Dunlop, Moore, Lucas, Izod, White,* Harper and Harris Grounds Committee—Messrs McLeod, Skeet Gregg, Primrose, Winter, Joyce, and C. Lewis

Entertainment Committee—Messrs Adair. South, and Piegse Secretaries—Messrs McKay and R. N.
