CARDINAL MORAN’S RETURN.
HOME RULE FOB IRELAND. DONATION TO THE PARNELL DEFENCE FUND. London, Oct 13. Cardinal Moran, of Sydney, will be accompanied on his return to the colony by thirty priests and sisters. In his farewell address His Eminence said he was glad to return convinced that Home Rule for Ireland must be immediately granted or otherwise the people would resort to secret societies. He had been greatly impressed by the unity which existed between the clergy and the people. Cardinal Moran subscribed £5O to the Parnell Defence Fund.
