GOLD FROM AUSTRALIA. London, Sept 22. The Bank of England has received £250,000 in gold from Australia. BOULANGER’S MOVEMENTS. General Boulanger is at present on a visit to Gibraltar. N.Z.L. Mr Gladstone is producing written testimony to verify statements he made concerning the release of Mr Parnell from gaol. RECOVERY OF THE AFGHAN RULER Late telegrams say that the Ameer of Afghanistan has now recovered from his recent severe illness.
