Late Captain of the Colonist.

THE UNDERTAKER’S STATEMENT, Wellington, Thursday. People here are in a paroxysm ot excite, ment at the news that the late unfortunate Captain Bailey, master of the Colonist, wrecked on Friday at the Heads, after being five days dead and coffined was observed to open and shut his eyes. Doctors, under, takers, jurymen, and all sorts of people have been interviewed to get an explanation of the affair.
