Wr are glad to be able to inform our readers that Mr Washington Weaver is a passenger by the Alameda, which will be in Auckland on the 15th inst., this day week. He will probably go on to Sydney with the water plant, and return here by the first opportunity after having interviewed the Sydney Board of Directors. Shareholders may now congratulate themselves that a stir in the oil business is af hand, and their long suspense is nearly oyer. The influence of Mr Weaver’s return cannot fail to be beneficial ta the jot.
