FIGHTING IN ABYSSINIA.
A FORCE ANNIHILATED. TREACHERY OF NATIVE TRIBES. Massowah, Aug. 15. A force of Natives, along with their native officers, who were despatched against the Abyssinians, were totally routed by the latter. The force under the Italians consisted of 400 Bashibazouks and 200 Assouans. The latter deserted during the engagement and joined the enemy.
