A Sad Suicide.
Mslboubne. July 17. This morning the driver of the 6.30 train from St. Hilda to Melbourne reported that he had n -tioed a dark opject on the line a quirter of a mile on the south side of the Albert Park station. A porter was sent to aee what the object was. He found the headless trunk of Evs Charlotte E worthy, daugh er of James E.worthy, of Port Melbourne. The body was lying face downwards, and the clothes were covered with a heavy frost. There were no signs of violence or of a struggle having taten place, and death must have been instantaneous. The deceased waa 22 years of age. About ten o'clock on Monday night, when the family retired, she bade them goodnight in the usual manner, and was not eeen alive again. No one heard her leave the house. This morning ehe was missed, and it was found that her bed had not been slept in, " An inquest was held this afternoon, and the jury returned a verdict of suicide.
