A SHIPPING DISASTER.

THE STAR OF GREECE WRECKED. SEVENTEEN LIVES LOST. THE VESSEL BROKEN TO PIECES. Adelaide, yesterday. The ship Star of Greece went ashore near Willunga, 30 miles south of this city. The ship broke up soon after, and the captain and many of the sailors were drowned. Many of the bodies have been washed ashore. The total number of persons on board was 27 (including two passengers), and of these the first and third officers, four men, and four apprentices were saved. The vessel was loaded with wheat, and was bound for England.
