Holy Trinity Church.

On Sunday morning the Bishop of Waiapu conducted the service at Holy Trinity Church, the solemn ordinance of Confirmation being included in the service. The Bishop delivered an impressive discourse from the text “ Choose ye this day whom ye will serve,” and especially addressed himself to those who had come forward to confirm their adherence to the Church. There were eighteen candidates, twelve females and six males. In the evening the Bev. Mr Fox also made reference to the ceremony, and said he hoped that the impression made would grow stronger and stronger in the minds of those who had been confirmed. •

A contributor sends us the following in connection with the special services at Holy Trinity, and in reference to the Confirmation His Lordship’s charge prior to the laying on of hands was an impressive one, as each candidate had to solemnly ratify and confirm the solemn vow made in their names at their baptism. This was done audibly, in the presence of the whole congregation.—ln the afternoon the church was filled with the children of the Protestant schools, their parents, and others, and a most interesting service was conducted by Mr Mountain. Singing was the principal feature throughout. The Rev. Mr Fox took part and pronounced the Benediction.
