A raw weeks ago we had occasion to reler to the insufficient mode of exit from our theatre s in ease of an alarm of fire. It is pleasing to state that no fear need now be felt on this head. Messrs Garrett and McKey and Mr McFarlane have met the Fire Inspector in a commendable spirit, and the alterations made are to the latter’a full satisfaction. The side doors have been fixed with an in. genious but simple contrivance, being a latch bolt. This has just to be lifted, and the slightest pressure on the doors forces them open. The outlet from the galleries, we are informed, has also been attended to, and ample provision made. The proprietors 0! the halls are entitled to the thanks of the public, and the trouble to which the former have been put will he noted by those frequenting the halls.
