COOK- COUNTY COUNCIL, "VTOTICE is hereby given that a Petition d-v signed by a majority of the Batepayers of the Turanganui Road District, praying the Council to abolish that District was this day presented to the Council, and the Council resolved to agree to that petition' A meeting of the Council will be held on THURSDAY, 16th November, 1887, at 2 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of confirming that resolution, JOHN WARREN, Clerk. COOK COUNTY COUNCIL. is hereby given that on THURSDAY, 10h November, 1887, this Council will proceed by Special Order to divide the Waimata Hiding into two Bidings —one to be called Waimata Riding, to comprise the Waimafa Road District as defined in Gazette of 29th September, 1887 ; the other to be called the Whataupoko Riding, to com-pri-e the Whataupoko and Kaiti Road Districts as defined in the Gazette of 29th September, 1887, The Council will also alter the representation of the Ridings as follows Gisborne Riding—One Member Waimata Hiding—One Member Whataupoko Riding—Ono Memler JOHN WARREN.
