VICTORIAN RACING. Melbourne, yesterday. Affluence has been backed for the Melbourne Cup to win £5OOO at 100 to 2. There were slight showers during the night and nothing of any importance was done either at Flemington or Caulfield. There is no betting to-day at any of the Clubs.
