A Harbour Board’s Troubles

New Plymouth, last night. The Harbour Board here are in a rather turious fix financially, Hitherto the interest, etc., has been paid oat of the Land Fund, but that has declined to a very small sum now. The rate that has been struck will produce £5OOO, but the interest will amount to £13,000 a year. Borne of the settlere are also objecting to pay their rates.
