Sir J. Vogel at Dunedin.
THE HOODLUMS AT IT AGAIN. Dunedin, August 10. Sir Julius Vogel addressed a meeting at Dunedin last night. At the earlier part of the meeting he was subjected to considerable interruption, chiefly from small knots of hoodlums who occasionally fought and tried to sing songs, but the attempt was frowned down. Sir Julius Vogel, though having repeated his claim for fair play, succeeded ultimately in forcing a respectful hearing. Towards the end he was heard with close attention, and finished amid hearcy applause. The Times thinks he has learned nothing the last three years.
