Steerage: Mr and Mrs McLeod, Mrs Liddell, and the Misses Monteeenor (2). OUTWARDS. July 11—Wairarapa, s.s., Captain Chatfield, for Auckland and Sydney. Passen- £ re—Chief Justice Prendergast, Mr and rs Bond, Messrs McDonald and McKenzie, and the “ Scottish Chiels.” The Wairarapa arrived in the Bay early yesterday morning, and a signal being made for a medical man, Dr Pollen went off, and found that a seaman was suffering from bronchitis. After examination the man was allowed to proceed on to Auckland, where he will probably go the hospital.
