A Post-office has now been opened at the Schoolhouse, Karaka. Tho designation of the Postoffice at Combermere has been changed to the Waimata Valley. Mails ciose at 1.30 p.m. every Monday. The Matawhero Office has been closed. The letters &c. have been removed to the Makaraka office.
