AUSTRALIAN DOCTORS IN POLITICAL FUED AGAINST HEALTH SCHEME

5000 Radio Broadcasts Before Federal Elections (Rec. 9.30). SYDNEY, Nov. 14. To-day five hundred doctors commenced the biggest radio campaign that has ever been conducted by professional men here. They are conducting this campaign in an effort to tell the public their side of their light to retain their present rights to private practice as against the health legislation of the Federal Parliament. There is a British Medical Association rule which prohibits the mention of its members names in the press or on the radio. The doctors are breaking this rule. The doctors will give their names in the press. The doctors will give one-minute broadcasts over the commercial radio stations. The addresses will be prefixed w’ith their respective names and addresses. Over five thousand of these broadcasts will be given by the doctors before the Federal election is held on December 10.
