JEWS MAY BECOME EXTINCT IN GERMANY
(Rec 9.15) LONDON. Nov 9. A correspondent of the Daily Mail at Frankfurt, says that tile Jewish population, which in 1933, stood at more than 500,000, is niw only 20,000 according to an American survey, more than 500,000, is now only 20,000 Im. Before the Hitler era, Ber’in had 100,000 Jews. Frankfurt then had the second largest colony. It now has only 360 Jews. An official report on the survey findings says that Germany’s Jewish community is threatened with extinction. Thirtyfour per cent, of the Jews are over 55 j ears of age.
