LONDON. November 8. A London bookmaker is reported to have opened a book on who will be the next Prime Minister of Britain. He is laying the following odds: — Six to four against Mr. Churchill, 5 to 2 against Mr. Attlee, 5 to 1 against Mr. Eden, 7 to 1 against Mr. Ernest Bevin, 8 to 1 against Mr. Herbert Morrison, 10 to 1 against Mr. Aneurin Bevan, 100 to 8 against Lord Woolton 25 to 1 against Sir Stafford Cripps, and 100 to 1 against Mr. Shinwell.
