Hackett, stating that not now or at any time in the future would the Government codtemplate taking over the taxi business was read ’ey-the Minister of Health (Miss M. B. Howard) at her (pening meeting in Sydenham. Miss Howard said that there was a whispering campaign going on to the eLect that the Government had in mind nationalising all transport.
