[Our Own Correspondent]. Members of the Reef ton Workingmen’s Club will visit Hokitika on Saturday next, to play a series of games, namely, darts, table tennis, and cards, in a challenge match for the West Coast Clubs’ Association trophy. The table tennis will start about 2.0 p.m. and will consist of games of singles. The table tennis team will be: C. Coxall, J. McLaren. J. E. Klurd, J. Thompson and J. McLelland (one to be omitted). Dart games will be 1001 up, Cricket, with 6 wickets to drop, and around the board one to 20. The darts team wil comprise: T. Fortune, S. Hunt, J. Brown and J. Hunt. The fortyfives team will be selected from the travelling members and will comprise 10 players. It is expected that about 30 members will make the trip in the bus, which is to leave the club rooms at 9.30 a.m. Waitahu Golf Club

Playing in the semi-final of the championships, D. Me Vicar returned the splendid card of 74/9/65. Next Sunday’s finals are. —Senior, August v. McVicar; intermediate, McKenzie v. Cartwright; junior, Lulham v. R. Fenington. Brewery Cup: Lulham and Osborne v. Doyle and Weir. Handicap reduction: McVicar to 7.
